Created by Herbalists Without Border Bristol (HWBB), a volunteer organisation made up of medical herbalists, community herbalists, people who are passionate about herbal medicine, and herb growers.

Since 2016 HWBB has provided free herbal medicines in Bristol to people fleeing conflict, persecution, and intolerable living conditions. We work with local projects that support with asylum seekers and refugees.

Profits from our products go to running the project and ensuring that the people we support can keep accessing the herbal medicines that they value.

Plants have always paid little heed to human imposed borders; responding to external conditions, seeds spread to new lands and make home for themselves where the environment will sustain them. HWBB is one answer to the question of how to respond to the pressures that migration places upon people when they have to uproot and start again.

We have now added a pay it forward option, which allows you to add a little extra to your total to directly pay for medicines.
